hey what’s going on everybody it’s AMD Radeon RX 7600 ETA Prime back here again today we’re going to be taking a look at the allnew AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT.
This is one I was really excited AMD Radeon RX 7600 about when it was first announced the 7600 is actually one of my favorite cards right now personally love.
What is the rank of Radeon RX 7600?
The value proposition that it offers retail on those is $279 retail on the new XT, AMD Radeon RX 7600 model is 330 it’s definitely a bit of a jump but we do have a lot more RAM here.
AMD Radeon RX 7600, Coming in at 16 gigs instead of eight with the non XT variant and obviously we’ve got the ASRock steel Legend version of the RX 7600 XT.
White so it goes along with uh some of my builds that I have in fact the original 7600 that I have is actually the ASRock steel Legend 7600 non-xt version.
I’m really hoping to see a nice jump in performance with this one I thought that that would come off a little easier than it did but I do think that these are really goodlooking cards.
What does a RX 7600 compare to?
If you’re familiar with these aot cards you know they put put these massive coolers on them we’ve got a triple fan design here this thing is not going to Thermal throttle.
I mean we’ve got plenty of metal here to keep this chip nice and chili now with the new 7600 XT version this will require two 8 Pin connectors instead.
A single with the original 7600 so definitely keep that in mind and the reason being total board power has actually been up to 190 WS instead of 165.
The non-xt so it does require a little more and with the steel Legend version from Rock we do have this led on and off switch so if you don’t want those LEDs on that triple fan setup you can always disable.

Is an RX 7600 worth it?
It completely another thing that’s been upgraded here is all of the display ports we have three here are now 2.1 instead of 1.4 we’ve also got.
AMD Radeon RX 7600, A single HDMI port over here and of course we’re going to need something to put this inside of so I’m actually going to be putting this in a rig.

I recently built one of my favorite cases this is actually The Cooler Master Encore 100 Max it’s kind of a mini ITX tower case it’s it does come included with a power supply.
An aiio but this card should fit really nicely in here because before I actually had the 7900 XTX inside of this unit and that was paired up with the ryzen 9 7950 X.
Is the RX 7600 better than the RTX 4060?
You know we’re not going to need that much power for the 7600 XT so I swapped the CPU out with a ryzen 7700x we’ve also got 32 GB of ddr5 at 6,400 MHz a 1 TB pcie 4.0 nvme SSD obviously.
We’ve got that Cooler Master Encore 100 Max case and when it comes to the specs of the new AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT we’ve got the ASRock steel Legend 16 GB overclock Edition boost.
AMD Radeon RX 7600, Clock up to 2,810 MHz 16 gabt of gddr6 only running at a 120 bit bus 32 rdna 3 compute units we’ve also got 32 megabytes of AMD Infinity cache.
They recommend up to a 650 W power supply with this now total board power from AMD is 190 but we can probably hit a little higher than that with a little bit of overclocking.
What games can Radeon RX 7600 run?
The 7600 XT so yeah I think it goes really nice inside of this case here and I’ve actually got a smaller forign Factor unit that I’ve been using the 7600 non.
AMD Radeon RX 7600 I think I may Swap this out if we get the performance gains that I’m hoping for and the first thing I wanted to take a look at were some benchmarks.
Now we’re getting right into it with 3D Mark we’ve got night raid coming in with a 5936 4 I always like throwing this lower end Benchmark in just to kind of compare it to the igpus on the market.

Is the RX 7600 enough for 1080p?
I mean we’re way ahead obviously we’ve got a dedicated GPU here next up we’ve got fire strike total score here with this setup 27,999 and our graphic score is 32535 so we are coming ahead.
The non-xt variant but not as much as I thought we’d be and finally AMD Radeon RX 7600 we’ve got time spy total score 11,176 total graphics score 11,385 so synthetics.
Aren’t looking that bad but we’re really not coming much ahead of the regular RX 7600, AMD Radeon RX 7600 non XT in fact I’ve actually been able to score a bit higher.
The non-xt variant in the same exact test with basically the same setup but these are synthetic benchmarks now it’s time to move over to some real world gaming.
Is Radeon RX better than RTX? AMD Radeon RX 7600
AMD Radeon RX 7600 See what we can do with the 7600 XT and first on the list I just ran the built-in Benchmark for Red Dead 2 really wanted to see.
What we could do here and it’s not bad at all it’s actually superseding what I thought we’d get out of this because by the end of this Benchmark run we had a minimum of 67 maximum of 158.
An average FPS of 120 now I wanted to test something a bit harder on these cards we’ve got Starfield 1440p High I am using FSR resolution scale is 50%.
Is the RX 7600 8gb good for gaming?
At 1440p here one thing to keep in mind is we are in a city with this game these cities really do tear up the GP U we’re getting an average of around 65 FPS.
Which isn’t horrible but you might as well go ahead and take this down to 1080p I was really hoping for a little better performance out.
The XT with Starfield but we still need a lot of FSR at this higher resolution I definitely had to hit up Forza Horizon 5.
